Scene 1 from Tuba Chronicles. The tuba part is made from
Berlioz' Symphonie Fantastique and the chorale from
Bartok's Concerto for Orchestra. Click to see larger image.

Scene 11, "the most beautiful melody." The tuba part is
made from Bernstein's "Waltz for Mippy III" and three
motives from the Vaughn Williams tuba concerto.

This sound is made using the image above as the "score"
and a doubly stretched recording of the first phrase of
the Berlioz as the "instrument."

The coloring is used for stereo imaging. Red is left,
green is right and yellow is center. The sound was synthesized
with MetaSynth.

This may not be in the final version. I present it here
only to give a taste of the kind of sounds that will be
in the recorded accompaniment.
